We Can't Change God's Word, But God's Word Can Change Us
Despite popular belief, the Word of God doesn’t change with the times. It didn’t change with women’s liberation; It didn’t change when abortion was legalized; And it didn’t change with gay marriages. It’s normal for a person to change throughout life. We go from the cradle to the grave in constant change, both physically and mentally. We change our minds, and break our word, but God never changes, and neither does His Word. Mal 3:6; Nu 23:19; Heb 13:8; Jn 10:35 When we become Christians, we die to this world, and put on a new man. Rom 6:3,4; Col 3:10 A new man that changed from sin to righteousness, and remains constant, and faithful to God’s unchanging Word. Rom 6:17,18; Rev 2:10 The same Word that saved new testament Christians nearly 2,000 years ago, saves us today, because God’s Word is truth, and truth never changes.
