Go Strictly By The Book That Will Judge Us

Go Strictly By The Book That Will Judge Us

When anyone takes a test in school, are they not graded according to their text book? Isn’t every student subjected to the same requirement: match the book’s answers, or fail the test? I don’t know of one, with basic intelligence, who dares argues against this process. Yet, so many have the unmitigated audacity to stand up without blushing, or being ashamed, Jer 6:15 and say that they don’t have to follow God’s Word explicitly. Despite all the warnings not to add to God’s Word, or subtract from it, they continue to rebel against God. Jeremiah wrote, “My people are foolish, stupid, and have no understanding. They are shrewd to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.” Jer 4:22 Isaiah said, “If they speak not according to this Word, it’s because there is no light in them.” Isa 8:20 Solomon wrote, “Don’t add to God’s words, unless he rebuke you, and prove you a liar.” Prov 30:6 Paul wrote, “That in us you might learn not (to go) beyond the things which are written” 1 Cor 4:6 Peter wrote, “If any man speaks, let him speak the very words of God.” 1 Pet 4:11 God will judge mankind according to His Word, and not ours. Jn 12:48; Rom 2:16 From Deuteronomy to Revelations, God has warned mankind not to alter his Word. Deut 4:2; 12:32; 28:14; Rev 22:18,19 Remember, God never makes idle threats, for vengeance, and judgment just like his Word, belongs only to Him. Heb  10:30,31; 2 Tim 3:16 Knowing this, let us go strictly by the book that will judge us all, the holy Word of God! Jn 12:48
