The Life of a Christian

The Servant Is Not Greater Than His Lord

If being a Christian were easy, everyone would be one, and remain one. Heb 3:14 Christians are the ones who have obeyed the gospel of Christ, and do the will of God. 1 Cor 15:1-4; 1 Jn 2:17 Christians speak the very words of God, and refuse to add to, or take from them. 1 Pet 4:11; 1 Cor 4:6 Christians assemble with the saints of God each first day of the week to remember the Lord’s death. Acts 20:7; 1 Cor 11:24-26 Christians are the ones who follow the doctrine of Christ, and refuse to adhere to the doctrines of men. 2 Jn 9; 1 Tim 6:3-5; Mt 15:7-9 Christians are the ones who are chastened of God for doing wrong, and chastened of God for doing right. 1 Pet 2:18-21; Rev 3:19 They are tested and tried of God, but never tempted beyond what they are able to endure. Ps 11:5; Jam 1:12; 1 Cor 10:13  All Christians are persecuted, for no servant is greater than his lord, our Lord Christ Jesus. 2 Tim 3:12; Jn 15:20 Christians are easy to recognize, but rarely seen because they are few in number. Deut 7:7 They are peculiar because they love their enemies, they bless those who curse them, they do good to those who hate them, and pray for those who persecute them. 1 Pet 2:9; Mt 5:44 They are the ones who are ready, willing, and able to teach and defend God’s Word, because they have put on the whole armor of God. 2 Tim 4:2-5; Philip 1:17; Eph 6:11-18 They read, study, and rightly divide God’s Word, seeking only God’s approbation. 1 Tim 4:13; 2 Tim 2:15 They are the ones who are called narrow minded people, because they are walking the strait, and narrow way. Mt 7:14 If you are ready to become a part of God’s called, chosen, and faithful, obey the gospel today, and become a member of the body (the church) of Christ. Rev 17:14; Acts 2:47; 1 Cor 12:13,27 It’s the only place where Christians attend! Acts 20:7
