Cast or Carried - Which One Do You Choose To Be?

We have only two choices­ to make in this life: either choose to obey, and be faithful to the gospel of Christ, and suffer affliction with the people of God, or choose to reject it, and enjoy the pleasure of sin for a season. Heb 11:25 Depending on which one we choose will determine whether we will be carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom (heaven’s reward), Lk 16:22 or cast into outer darkness where there will be weeping, and gnashing of teeth (hell’s punishment). Mt 25:30 Kings and queens are carried because they are royalty, and worthy to be served, and revered. Trash and waste are cast and removed out of sight, because of its foul smell, and worthless value. We can choose to suffer in this life for the cause of Christ, and receive Lazarus’ reward, or choose to eat, drink, and be merry, and receive the rich man’s reward.
