The Truth Shall Set Us Free

Truth Will Set Us Free

We can lie to our spouse; We can lie to our family and friends; We can lie to anyone, including ourselves, and perhaps, someone will believe us. However, we can’t lie to God, because He knows our secrets, Ps 90:8 and every little thing we say, think, or do. Ps 44:21; Ps 139:1-13; Prov 15:3; Jer 17:10; Acts 15:18 He even knows the intent of our hearts. Rev 2:23; Heb 4:12 Let us not lie against the truth, for no lie is of the truth. 1 Jn 2:21; Jam 3:14 Jesus said he was the way, the truth and the life, but those who tell lies have the devil for an advocate, for he is the father of all liars. Jn 14:6; Jn 8:44 God doesn’t lie, (Heb 6:18) the apostles didn’t lie in what they wrote, Rom 9:1 and we must put off lying to be right with God. Col 3:8-10 Those who turn from God are they which speak lies in hypocrisy having their conscience seared,  who attempt to change the truth of God into a lie. 1 Tim 4:1,2; Rom 2:25 Anyone who obeys not God, and denies Jesus is the Christ is a liar, and the truth is not in them. 1 Jn 2:4, 22 We can either turn to the truth now, and repent of our sins, Lk 13:3; Acts 17:30 and obey the gospel, Rom 10:10; Acts 2:38  or stand before God defenseless, and pay the consequences of an eternity in hell. Rom 2:16; 2 Cor 5:10,11; Rev 21:8 Remember, the truth will always set us free. Jn 8:32
