The More We Know, The Less We Know

The older we get, and the closer we get to meeting God, the more we realize that in this life, we don’t know much. Socrates  wrote: “As for me, all I know is that I know nothing.” Paul stated, “We know nothing yet as we ought to know”. All the accumulative knowledge in the world, from its beginning till the end, is mere foolishness with God. If we desire to be wise, if we desire to have knowledge and understanding, it is to seek, search, and study the Word of God, for therein is contained the manifold wisdom of God.

Listen To The Word of God

As Christians, we communicate to God through prayer, and He listens. God communicates to us through His Word, but do we listen? Some people say, “Don’t just stand there, do something”! However, we are better served standing still, and doing nothing,_nothing but mediating upon His Word. We can’t obey God, until we first listen to His Word.
