The Right Church

Jesus built only one church, although mankind has many versions of it. They all claim that they are correct, but the everlasting question is: which version is right with God? When you can find the church that Christ built, the apostles established, and the early day Christians attended, you will be in the right place. That church will carry Christ’s name, Christ’s doctrine, and will abide by God’s Word. The bottom line is: don’t believe anything that God hasn’t put His signature on. The right church, is right with God’s Word.

God Reveals All

God doesn’t hide his sunshine from the flower, or his rain from the fruit of the land, and God doesn’t hide his Word from mankind. Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world, and God has revealed all of his prophesies from Genesis to Revelation. He revealed it to the fathers, and to the prophets, and to the holy apostles by the Holy Spirit. We have it all today contained within the Word of God. God has done His part, and now it’s time for us to reveal our allegiance to Him by reading, studying, learning and obeying the perfect Will of God.

Go By The Book

If God didn’t command it, then why are we doing it? If God commanded it, then why aren’t we obeying it? If God spoke nothing of it, why are we speaking it? If God spoke it, then why aren’t we preaching it? If God condemned it, then why don’t we? If God didn’t condemn it, why should we? When we do the which God commanded, and no more, shall we not be rewarded?  And if we do that which God didn’t command, shall we not be punished? Then why would we dare, to do less or more, than that which God commanded us? When we learn to not go beyond that which was written in the scriptures, then, and only then, do we begin to understand the knowledge of God. Go by the Book, and stick to the strait and narrow.

Hypocrites Are Blind To Their Own Faults

A hypocrite is blind to their own faults, although they can see the mistakes of others very clearly. Hypocrites define sin as the sum total of acts which they themselves do not commit. They are the ones who justify their sins, while condemning the sins of others. If we spent more getting our house in order, we would have less time to meddle into the affairs of others. When we fully realize that ALL have sinned, and that ALL fall short of the glory of God, we will be less likely to point accusing fingers, and more likely to offer a helping hand.

God’s Word: 100% Truth – 0% Lies

If there is more than one Faith; If there is more than one Baptism; If there is more than one Gospel; If there is more than one Doctrine; If there is more than one Church; Then the apostles were not inspired; the Holy Spirit never existed; Jesus is not the Christ; God is not our Father; And the bible is a book filled with lies, and contradictions.

The fathers, the prophets, and the apostles were all inspired by the Holy Spirit, and the Spirit received every word he spoke from God. Jesus said that he spoke what God commanded him to say and to speak, and that his doctrine belonged to his Father. Either we believe that all of the Word of God is true, or we believe none of it’s true. It’s an all, or nothing proposition. God cannot and will not lie, for it is impossible for Him to lie. The bible is 100% Truth – 0% Lies, and is certified by God’s oath and His promise. If we can’t take God’s Word for truth, it’s impossible for His truth to save us.

God’s Word Has Full Authority

A country without law and order, without justice, without authority, and without God, is a country that will soon crumble. Just like a church without Christ’s name, without Christ’s doctrine, and without the bible as its final authority, will be lost. The kingdom of God is not a democracy, but a theocracy with only One Supreme Authority, God Almighty. If we truly accept the authority of God, then we of necessity must accept the full authority of his words.

Take God’s Word As Directed

The Word of God is like a prescription given from a doctor: We are to take it as directed. To alter it could make one very ill, or even kill them, and even lead one to prison. How much greater punishment will God render to us when we attempt to change God’s Word, and abide not by its directions. If we don’t want the wrath of God upon us, or our names removed from the Lamb’s Book of Life, we must take God’s prescription as directed. We must accept the bible as is, where is, and obey it as prescribed by the Great Physician. If we want to be saved, it is just a matter of obeying the Doctor’s orders (God’s Commandments).

Faith Compels Us To Action

Every farmer who has ever planted a crop has had great faith that the seeds they plant for the coming season will grow, and produce. However, even the creed of the Future Farmers of America will attest, it is based upon: A faith born not of words, but of deeds. Until our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ can reach to the measure of the oldest profession under the sun, a farmer, our faith is dead. We must first BELIEVE, and then our belief compels us to ACTION. He that Believes, and is Baptized shall be saved. Now that is Faith in Action!

We All Need Forgiveness

It is not within us to walk through life sin free, but the wise will learn from their mistakes, and avoid repeating them.  All have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God, but until we acknowledge our sins, and repent of them, we will be lost. After all, God can’t lift us up until we first admit we have fallen down. We strive for perfection, but rarely find it, but thanks be unto God which gives us the victory through the blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our greatest mistake is not to sin, it is the failure to turn from it.

This Is The Love of God

You will know the love of God is in your heart, when his word is in your knowledge, when his work is in your hands, and when his suffering is in your soul. To love God is to learn God, and to learn God is to obey God, and to obey God is to endure his suffering till the end. Study, Obey and Endure, for this is the love of God.
