The Best Way To Stop Abortion

Society has always picked its weakest, and sought out to destroy them. Is it any wonder why this wicked society kills the preborn baby? It is because it has no voice in society, and hasn’t been allotted any civil rights. Martin Luther King was this country’s greatest civil right’s leader, and he made some insightful comments on the subject. He said, “He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it. He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it.”  “History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people.” “The ultimate tragedy is not the oppression and cruelty by the bad people, but the silence over that by the good people.” “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.” “The hottest place in Hell is reserved for those who remain neutral in times of great moral conflict.”

The genocide of countless millions of preborn babies is unacceptable in any moral, God fearing society. Since 1969 when the Supreme Court first dealt with abortion, we have had several presidents who have been elected with the premise that they would end this travesty. Let’s be fair about this, few of them had opportunity because the opposing party stood in the way, but the ones who did have opportunity didn’t even lift a finger to change the law. Needless to say, politics and government is not the solution to end abortion. Yes, they can pass senseless laws which can’t be enforced, but that won’t help stop the mindless killing of babies.

The bible is quite clear on the subject of abortion. The scriptures said in both the old and new testaments, “You shall not kill (murder).” Ex 20:13 f; Mt 19:18 All who kill shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Rev 22:15 The prophet Jeremiah recorded the blatant murder of innocent life when Judah was offering their sons for sacrifice to the idol Baal. To this end God said, “Which I commanded not, nor spoke it, neither came it into my mind” Jer 19:5 Is it possible that God had never contemplated that this generation would be so wicked to kill it’s innocent preborn children so frivolously, carelessly, and shamelessly.

Preborn babies are human beings who have the God given right to live. Notice what Job said, “Did not He who made me in the womb make him? Did not the same one form us both within our mothers?” Job 31:15 David wrote, “Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them.” Ps 139:16  Jeremiah wrote,  “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart, I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Jer 1:5

As a nation we are no stronger than our weakest citizens. It is time that the silent majority of this nation, yes, even the world to stand against the slaying of our greatest asset as a people, our children. The best way to end abortion it to convert and save the lost. Jam 5:19,20 Faithful Christians don’t kill their babies. Faithful Christians nourishes and cherishes their own, training them and bringing them up in the admonition of the Lord. 2 Tim 3:15 f; Eph 6:4 The sinner will never stop aborting their own babies altogether because it is profitable for them to do so. The best we can hope for is show them by our example the assets of a Christian family, and if they are willing to instruct them in the ways and knowledge of God’s Word. 1 Tim 4:12, 16
