Marry Christ By The Book

Living together outside the bonds of marriage is like one who believes Jesus is the Christ, but they refuse to marry the Lord by being baptized into his death. Calling oneself married without a legal marriage license is like those who call themselves a Christian without scriptural validation. God has a name for those who cohabitate, it’s called fornication, and God has a name for those who have “faith only”, its called a sinner. Christ will not be joined to us while we are still sinners, no more than a Christian will joined together with another without the bonds of marriage. If one wants to be married to the Lord, do it by the Book, the Word of God, and make it official by obeying the gospel of Christ.
