God’s Word is the sum total of truth. All truth emanates from God, for in him dwells no lie, neither can he lie, for no lie is of the truth. We shall know the truth, and it will free us from sin. However, if we don’t believe, and obey the Word of Truth, (the gospel of our salvation) then the truth is not in us. If the truth be not in us, then neither is Christ, for Christ is truth. Obey the gospel, and become a member of the body (church) of Christ, the pillar and ground of the truth.
