Faithless Brethren

I am amazed at so many who have little faith in the bible anymore. Perhaps this is the reason why so many have their favorite lexicon to interpret the bible for them. Every one has their own doctrine and interpretation based upon the definitions of denominational scholars. Does this verse remind you of this generation? “Every man did that which was right in his own eye” (Judges 17:6). By changing the Bible they have destroyed their only weapon of defense, the Word of God, which is the Sword of the Spirit. They have lost confidence in God’s Holy Word.

Ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth, they collect software and books “to make one wise” and “be as gods, knowing,” more than God has directly said in His Word,

Many have been deceived into believing that the so called “experts,” are invincible. The truth is that Satan is a deceiver (John 8:44 ff; 2 Corinthians 4:4; 11:13-15). Satan’s method is always to associate, infiltrate and then dominate. Many churches of Christ have fallen prey to these so called bible aids as if they descended directly from God and was inspired of God. Attention brethren! Lexicons and commentaries did not, nor have they every been ordained by God. They were, are, and always will be the doctrines of men which are prohibited by God’s Word to use (Mt 15:7-9).

So called “scholars” are heretics: Strong, Vine, Scott, Thayer, Moulton and Milligan, Kittel, Wuest, Bauer, Danker, Metzger and will lead any Church into apostasy. In fact, it already has. Let me give you one prime example of such. Many members of the Lord’s church are living in open adultery based upon the broad definitions of what adultery really means. This is why so many alien brethren have multiple wives and husbands and justify themselves by the commentary of denominational teaching and broad denominational definitions in lexicons.

Many believe the bible is a good book, but to them it’s not perfect. Oh really? God’s word is perfect, tested and tried (Ps 12:6 f; Prov 30:5). Many believe that the bible was written by fallible men making the bible fallible. The bible was written by inspired men and their inspiration was from God Almighty (2 Tim 3:16 f; 2 Pet 1:21).

Once you doubt God’s Word, then you eventually eliminate the Bible as your choice for truth. Now that God’s Word has been removed, you are soon to fall away from the truth of God. This is Satan’s method and it has worked for thousands of years.

Brethren, if you can’t prove your faith by God’s Word, it just isn’t so!
