In Search For Truth

People are always looking for the truth but they rarely find it. We live in the information age where we can get news in a matter of seconds of an event happening. Often one can get information as it is happening. Yet, despite this, our so called news is skewed by political, social, and religious bias.

It is amazing to what extent people put their trust and faith in search for the truth. Many people accept Darwin’s Theory Of Evolution despite the fact that no species known to man has ever evolved since the theory was first introduced in 1859. There are those who believe in intelligent life in outer space, and that somehow they are affecting life here on earth. Others believe that they can control their life by astrology. Some place their faith in psychics. Some religious people put their trust in so called prophets or prophetesses. Sadly enough, I am not worried about intelligent life on other planets. I am still looking for intelligent life here on earth.

I am not surprised to see the world in such disarray when it comes to the search for real truth. They have rejected the bible as their source for knowledge. Israel was destroyed for the lack of knowledge (Hos 4:6). Instead of studying how to live longer here on earth, we need to be studying to be approved of God by rightly discerning the Word of truth (2 Tim 2:15). It’s an absolute fact that life here on earth infinite (Heb 9:27). Life expectancy here on earth for about 99.9% of people is less than 100 years. Most will die far short of this number and even fewer will exceed it. Therefore, in that short space of time you have one duty and one duty only: GET YOUR HOUSE IN ORDER! You can only do this by your obedience to the gospel and doctrine of Christ and his apostles, and to keep yourself unspotted from this world.
