Speaking where the bible speaks, and silent where the bible is silent.

God’s Way or No Way

Biblical Proof

Anyone can go to Hell on their own terms, but no one can go to Heaven except by the terms set by God, which was revealed through His Son, Jesus Christ, (Heb 1:1,2) and was preached by the apostles unto all the world (Col 1:23). Just like the old song “everybody wants to go to Heaven but nobody wants to die.” It could equally be said, “everybody wants to go to Heaven, if they can have it their own way.”

Mankind was not given that kind of flexibility. God sets the standards of obedience and worship worthy God of eternal salvation, and it is not up for negotiation or debate. God wants man to be fully obedient to His will, both in word and deed (Col 3:17).

Jesus said it best in the latter half of his sermon on the mount, “Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is easy, that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard, that leads to life, and those who find it are few” (Mt 7:13-14). If you are truly interested in spending your eternal life in heaven, you must give up the notion that you can add to or take from God’s Word (1 Cor 4:6 ff; Gal 1:6-9; 1 Pet 4:11; Rev 22:18,19). It is the most fundamental principle in the bible. God will not tolerate anyone making any changes, revisions, or assumptions to his Word. Anyone who does is guaranteed hell and damnation. This is God’s World, it is run by God’s laws, and in the end of all things it is God’s reward. If you want things your way, hell was made just for you. However, if you are willing to submit to God’s way, heaven has a place for you! Conclusively, in the end of all things, it is God’s way or no way!
