A Letter To Congress

Biblical Proof

Dear Congress,
I took the time a while back to write a letter to the president of the United States, Barack Obama. In the letter I challenged the president to repudiate his immoral principles and return this country back to God. Evidently, this plea went unanswered. Therefore, I turn him and all that advocate his immoral principles over to God.

Today, I address the newly elected congress. There are few times in American politics that congress is united behind one party. This is one of those times. Republicans have campaigned with moral values as their major platform, but have had little opportunity to make any changes to the law that governs us. Once again, this is one of those times.

I ask this congress to place on the president’s desk moral bills that will return this country back to a God fearing nation. Don’t be afraid to present a bill which outlaws gay marriage in all 50 states. Don’t be afraid to present a bill which outlaws abortion from the moment of conception. Don’t be afraid to present a bill which removes gays from the military. Don’t be afraid to present a bill which makes a divorce much harder to obtain than it does for one to get married. Don’t be afraid to present a bill which allows voluntary prayer back in schools. Don’t be afraid to present a bill which rewards hard working Americans with a wage that can support their families. Don’t be afraid to present a bill which makes rape a mandatory life sentence. Don’t be afraid to present a bill which bans gambling on land or on sea near our borders. Don’t be afraid to present a bill which makes sexual cohabitation illegal. Don’t be afraid to present any bill which puts God back in our country and casts out immorality from our sight.

Now, I know that the current president may not sign any of these bills, but isn’t it time that rhetoric be replaced with action? Isn’t it time to exchange political ads into the laws of this nation? No one knows again when there will be an opportunity for those who stand for moral values to actually cast a vote for moral laws. This is one of those times. I’m watching, the nation is watching, but more importantly, God is watching too.

Good letter….but the republicans are as morally bankrupt (if not more so) than the democrats

  3. My brother I have nothing critical to say about your wish list to the sinners in the whitehouse. Nevertheless , if they did all of those things on your wish list, this would still be the country it started out as, immoral. A moral bill does not make a moral nation or person.

I did not read where you requested any of the politicians to become saints. I tried that about 30 years ago to no avail. Now I just do as Paul said, pray for them and try to reach candidates before they reach Washington.

Thanks for your love letters to all on capital hill in Washington. I will pray with you that their hearts change from sinners to saints.

Keep writing brother love to read your words.
