The Baptist Name, Gospel, and Doctrine Is Wrong

The Baptist Name, Gospel & Doctrine Is Wrong

There comes a time in our Christian life when are are asked to defend the Word of God. The apostle Peter said we must be ready to give these challenges a biblical answer. 1 Pet 3:15 The apostle Paul said he was set for the defense of the gospel. Philip 1:17 Jude wrote that we must earnestly contend for the faith. Jude 3 Solomon reveals, “Those who forsake the law praise the wicked, but such as keep the law contend with them.“ Prov 28:4 So to the Baptist who profess a gospel and doctrine contrary to apostolic doctrine, here is your challenge: Prove your faith by the bible or as Isaiah the prophet said, “Let them hear, and say, It is truth.” Isa 43:9

Where in the bible does it teach that the name of the church is “The Baptist Church”?

For the record, there is only one Body, one Faith and One Baptism. Eph 4:4 Jesus is the head of this one BODY which was defined as the CHURCH. Col 1:18 By one SPIRIT all Christians are baptized into this one BODY, and become members of the BODY, the CHURCH of CHRIST. 1 Cor 12:13,27 Therefore it is with great authority that the name of the church which Christ built is the church of Christ. Mt 16:18 f; Rom 16:16 There is no church in the new the bible which is named, ‘The Baptist Church’.

Where in the bible does it teach “Faith Only” saves?

For the record, James chapter 2 and verse 24 says ‘Faith Only’ does not justify anyone. Faith without works are dead. Jam 2:20  Show me your faith without your works and I will show you my faith by my works. Jam 2:18  It is true the faith saves, but not alone. It is true the baptism saves, but not alone. There was no convert in the bible who was saved by ‘faith only’. Jesus commanded both Faith and Baptism in order for one to be Saved. Mk 16:16 In fact, all new testament converts were confessed believers who repented and were baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. Mk 16:16 f; Acts 2:38 Therefore it is conclusive that the Baptist doctrine of ‘faith only’ is a false doctrine.

Where in the bible does it teach “Once Saved, Always Saved”?

For the record, Galatians 5:4 says one can fall from grace. “You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.” Paul told this same church, “I marvel that you are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert (change) the gospel of Christ.” Gal 1:6,7 If one is always saved, then how can one follow another gospel? Jesus said if we continue in the faith then are we Christians indeed. Jn 8:31 Therefore, the Baptist doctrine, ‘Once saved , always saved’ is false doctrine.

Where in the bible does it teach “The Sinners Prayer”?

For the record, Saul of Tarsus prayed for 3 days after witnessing Jesus on the road to Damascus, but his prayer didn’t remove his sins. Ananias commanded that Saul arise and be baptized to have his sins washed away and then he should call on the name of the Lord. Acts 22:16 The scriptures made it perfectly clear that God hears not or answers sinners. Jn 9:31 Peter stated it as clear as any when he said, “The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” 1 Pet 3:12 There is no account of anyone ever commanding someone to say a sinner’s prayer in order to have their sins removed. The only way a sinner can have their sins removed is to repent and be baptized. Acts 2:38 Therefore, the Baptist doctrine of saying a “Sinner’s Prayer’ to have their sins removed is false doctrine.

Where in the bible does it teach “The Thief On The Cross Is Our Example For Salvation“?

For the record, the thief on the cross lived and died under the law of Moses. For the record, no where will it be found where one Christian convert was saved by the example of the thief. For the record, the thief went where Jesus went the day he died. The scriptures named this place ‘Paradise’. We know for fact that Jesus went not to heaven, for he told Mary Magdalene to touch him not, for he had yet to ascend to his heavenly Father. Jn 20:17 We also know by Jesus’ account that ‘Paradise’ has two places: One for the good and one for the bad. Lk 16:19-31 Peter stated that Jesus after his death went to preach to the disobedient spirits from the days of Noah. 1 Pet 3:18-20 And if the Baptist took the time to read the very next verse they will discover that Baptism saves us today, even as water saved Noah and his family. 1 Pet 3:21 The bible made it clear that there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12 Our example is Jesus Christ, and in his steps we all must walk in order to be saved. 1 Pet 2:20,21 Therefore, the Baptist doctrine that the ‘Thief on the cross is our example for salvation’ is false doctrine.

Where in the bible does it teach “Baptism is not Essential to Salvation”?

Jesus said, “He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believes not shall be condemned.” Mk 16:16  On the day of Pentecost Peter told the believers on that day to “Repent and be baptized” for the remission of sins. Acts 2:38 Saul was commanded to arise and be baptized to wash away his sins. Acts 22:16  The Ethiopian Eunuch was commanded to be baptized after confessing Jesus was the Christ. Acts 8:36-39 Cornelius was commanded to be baptized , Lydia was commanded to be baptized, the jailer was commanded to be baptized, and all Christian converts thereafter  were commanded the same in order to be saved. Acts 10 f; Acts 16 Jesus said baptism saves, and so did the apostle Peter. Mk 16:15,16 f; 1 Pet 3:21 Therefore, it is conclusive the the Baptist doctrine which says, ‘Baptism is not essential  for salvation’ is false doctrine.

Where in the new testament does it teach “Instrumental Music”?

Paul stated as he did to all churches, “Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.” Eph 5:19 f; 1 Cor 4:17 Where is the example where any member of the church ever used instruments of music in worship to God? The Baptist are quick to say we are no longer under the law of Moses, and for this they are correct, (Rom 15:4 f; Col 2:14)  but then in desperation they are quick to use David as their example in reference to instrumental music. Jesus sang a hymn with his disciples, but there is no mention of instruments accompanying them. Mt 26:30 The apostle Paul  commanded the church of Ephesus and Colossae to sing with their mouth and make music in their hearts, but commanded no where to play an instrument with their hands. Eph 5:19 f; Col 3:16 In fact, God is not worshiped men’s hands. Acts 17:24,25 Therefore it is conclusive that the Baptist doctrine to use ‘Instrumental Music’ in worship to God is false doctrine.

Where in the bible does it teach “Women deacons and preachers”?

For the record, Paul made it abundantly clear that women were prohibited from holding the office of elders or deacons. 1 Tim 3:1-13 It also was made clear that women were prohibited from being speakers in the church assemblies. 1 Cor 14:33-40 It was also made known that women were prohibited from teaching men and usurping their authority. 1 Tim 2:11-15  Aged women were commanded to teach younger women  to be chaste keepers at home, to love and be in subjection to their own husbands. They are to love their husband and children and live a moral life that the word of God be not blasphemed. Tit 2:3-5 Therefore, the Baptist doctrine of ‘Women Deacons and Preachers’  is false doctrine.

Conclusion: The challenge is in the court of all who preach, teach, and obey the false doctrine of the Baptist church. Your name is wrong, your gospel is wrong, and your doctrine if wrong, and if you die in this condition you will be judged by God’s Word to be wrong. Jn 12:48 ff; Rom 2:16; Gal 1:6-9; 2 Jn 9
