Is there an absolutely right, and an absolute truth? Is there only one true church? Is there only one doctrine, one faith, one gospel? Was the gospel really defined? Why can’t I be saved in my church? All of these are questions of those who believe one church is as good as another. However, the scriptures state affirmatively that God is absolute right, and truth. Deut 32:4 Jesus stated boldly that he was the way, the truth and the life. Jn 14:6 This same Jesus built, died for, and purchased with his own blood, the church. Mt 16:18; Acts 20:28; Eph 5:25 Paul stated that Jesus was the head of the body (the church) of Christ. Eph 1:22,23; Col 1:18 John stated that anyone who abides in the doctrine of Christ has the Father, and the Son. 2 Jn 9 Paul stated there is only one faith, Eph 4:5 and anyone who teaches any other gospel, let them be accursed. Gal 1:6-9 This gospel was defined as Jesus, and him crucified, and raised from the dead, which was made apparent on the day of Pentecost, and every conversion thereafter. 1 Cor 15:1-4; Acts 2:37-47 All were made Christians, and added to the church of Christ when they heard, and understood the gospel, Acts 8:30-39; Mt 15:10; Mk 7:14 believed, and confessed Jesus was the Christ, Rom 10:9,10 and repented, and was baptized. Acts 2:38 Then, and only then were they added to the church of Christ. Acts 2:47; Acts 5:14; 1 Cor 12:13 There is where you will find the absolute, pillar and ground of the truth. 1 Tim 3:15 It is true that one denominational church is as good as another, because they are all wrong. Wrong because they obey not the doctrine of Christ. The only one true church is the one who carries His name, obeys His gospel, and abides in His doctrine.
