God’s Unchanging Word

God's Unchanging Word

If we can add or remove words from God’s Word, then it’s no longer God’s Word, but an an adulterated word. (1 Pet 4:11; Rev 22:18,19) If it’s no longer God’s Word, then it has no power to save anyone. (1 Pet 1:23-25; 1 Thess 1:5; Heb 1:3) Which means all those who unrepentantly follow the doctrines of men have no chance for eternal life, but have worshiped God in vain. (Mt 15:7-9; 2 Jn 9) Think about that the next time you attend a church which baptizes from a bowl of water, (Acts 8:38,39) or teaches “faith only” saves, (Mk 16:16; Jam 2:24) or worships with instruments of music, (Eph 5:19; Col 3:16)  or has women preachers, and leaders, (1 Cor 14:33-40; 1 Tim 2:11,12; Isa 3:12) doing things which God never commanded, never spake of, and neither came it into His mind. (Jer 19:5) Not the prophets of God, (2 Pet 1:21) not the apostles, (2 Cor 2:17; Acts 4:20; Acts 5:29) not Jesus Christ (Jn 7:16,17; Jn 12:49,50) and not even the Holy Spirit (Jn 14:26) wrote or spake by their own opinion, but rather by the inspiration of God. (2 Tim 3:16,17) God’s Word wasn’t coauthored with anyone in heaven or earth, but was authored by God himself, and given to mankind via the Holy Spirit. (Jn 16:13) Their is a reason why the bible is called the Word of God: it’s because every word contained therein belongs to Him only, and His servants speak His Word faithfully. (2 Tim 3:16;Jer 23:28) Salvation also belongs to God only, (Tit 1:2) and it’s by His Word we shall all be judged come the day of judgment. (Jn 12:48) Something to consider if we are sincerely seeking the salvation of God, (Mt 6:33; Jer 29:13) and not the praises of men. (Jn 12:43; Lk 6:26) We can’t change God’s Word no matter how much we try, (Jam 1:17) but God’s Word can truly change us when we allow God to be true, and us a liar. (Rom 3:4)
