If heaven is the Goal, the Church of Christ is the Place to Start
Imagine a place where there is no greed, need, or starvation. A place where there is no killing, stealing, or abuse. A place where there are no homosexuals, lesbians, or perversion. A place where there is no child molestation, rape, or prostitution. A place where there is no sin at all. A place where there are no tears, fears, or gloom. A place where there is no sickness, disease, or death. Now, I can’t show you such a place, but I can show you where the entry to this place begins: It’s called the church of Christ. A place where we speak where the bible speaks, and is silent where the bible is silent. A place that proves it’s faith by the scriptures, and not our own opinions. A place that meets each Sunday, sings and prays with the Spirit and understanding without the use of instrumental music, preaches the Word, studies the scriptures daily, and gives freely of its means, helping both the needy saints, and supporting the preaching of the gospel. A place who allows no entry, except by one’s obedience to the gospel of Christ. If heaven is the goal, the church of Christ is the place to start.
