When will mankind ever learn that we don’t control the universe. We don’t make it rain, snow, or hail. We don’t make the winds to blow, the earth to shake, or the sun to shine. We didn’t make the air that we breathe, the water that we drink, the earth below us, or the heavens above us. We can’t add anything to what God has made, and we can’t subtract anything from it. This principle also applies to scriptures, for God is the author of every word contained therein, and despite commentaries, lexicons, and personal opinions, His Word will judge us all. The only thing mankind truly controls, is whether or not we choose to obey, or reject the gospel of Christ. All else, including our very souls, belongs to God.
