Rejoice In The Lord

This sinful world is always seeking happiness, but always in all the wrong places. They seek it in alcohol, and illegal drugs. They seek it in night clubs, and beer joints. They seek it with multiple partners, inside and outside of marriage, in fornications and adulteries. They truly seek it, but they fail to look in the only place that guarantees it, the Word of God. Prov 29:18

If only they knew that there is no lasting happiness in sin. Job 27:8; Ps 2:22; Prov 13:15 In fact, there is no peace at all  given to the wicked. Isa 48:22; Rom 3:17  Peace comes from obeying God, and keeping his commandments. Isa 48:18 The world truly says, “Eat, drink, and be merry”, Lk 21:19 but those who obey, and are faithful to the gospel are the ones who truly rejoice, for they have obtained eternal life; Acts 8:37-39 And the time will come that both the sinner and saint alike will die, Job 21:26; Eccl 9:2 and the sinner shall awake to hell and damnation, Rev 21:8 but the Christian to an eternity with God in heaven. Lk 16:19-31; Isa 57:1,2; Philip 1:21  Blessed, and precious are they that die in the Lord! Ps 116:15; Rev 14:13 Rejoice in the Lord always, and Count them Happy who Endured.
